BCCK Sustainability
Environmental sustainability is a top priority for BCCK, aiming to minimise the impact on the environment and play a part in slowing climate change. Through ISO management systems (ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management) implemented by BCCK’s appointed vendor, we salvage and repurpose waste, aligning with our commitment to sustainability. One significant initiative is our collaboration with a leading Satoyama farm in Kuching to manage food waste through bioconversion, transforming segregated waste into organic fertilisers for pesticide and chemical-free plant growth. This not only reduces waste but also mitigates harmful environmental factors. Supported by our food suppliers, BCCK recycled 1,662 kg of carton boxes, 316 kg of papers, 36 kg of aluminum cans, 3,070 kg of scrap iron, and 9,870 kg of used cooking oil from January 2022 to September 2023, demonstrating their dedication to long-term sustainability.
Shuttle Schedule
Transportation to and from the congress venue will be provided free of charge in the form of shuttle buses. Delegates are encouraged to review the shuttle schedule beforehand. Please meet at the nearest stop listed on the schedule 5-10 minutes before your desired departure time. For those who prefer a later departure, taxis (e.g., Grab) can be hailed electronically from your hotel to BCCK (approximate cost US$5 each way).
