Disclaimer:
- In compliance with the recent Malaysian Government regulation, effective from March 1, 2024, the Sales and Service Tax (SST) has been increased from 6% to 8%. Consequently, please note that the registration fee will now incorporate the 8% SST. The registration fees displayed above do not include the SST amount. The final amount you will be required to pay, inclusive of the 8% SST, will be displayed upon reaching the payment portal.
- Please note that when you enter the payment portal, your payment fee will be automatically converted to Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) at a fixed rate of approximately 4.9.
Registration Benefits
Registration includes:
- Entry to all scientific sessions of the Congress between 5–9 August 2024
- Speaking slots/abstracts (limited to 2 per registered participant, except for Plenary speakers, who are given 4 slots)
- Transport to and from the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK): Kuching downtown to BCCK (service provided by BCCK)
- Buffet lunch and coffee/tea at the Congress venue
- Exclusive 10WCH merchandize and welcoming pack
- Daycare centre for children
Further, there will be student aid for attendance of the Congress by the Sarawak Government and by the World Congress of Herpetology. Please watch this space for further details.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation or postponement of Congress due to unseen circumstances, registered and paid participants are entitled to a refund of their 10th World Congress of Herpetology registration fees, minus an administration fee.
All cancellation requests will be handled on a discretionary basis. Upon acceptance of the cancellation, refunds are applicable according to the following timeline:
- Cancellation before 30 May 2024 - 70% Refund
- Cancellation on and after 30 May 2024 - No Refund
- The refund is subject to a 10% administrative fee.
- All refunds will be made after the conference.
- All bank services charges/ convenience fee/ administrative fees/ taxes will be deducted from all conference registration refunds.
- Registration fee may be transferred to another individual; payment invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant.
